2025 Hall Award for a Clinically Innovative Research Paper

Executive Summary
The Hall Award recognizes a junior or mid-career investigator who is the first or senior author of a paper that exemplifies Dr. Caroline B. Hall’s innovative approach to clinical research. Nomination packets are due May 16th, 2025, at 5pm ET. Following review of nominees by the PIDS Nominations and Awards Committee and the PIDS Board of Directors, an awardee will be selected and announced during IDWeek.


Eligibility
Any PIDS member in good standing, who completed fellowship training ≤15 years prior to the time of nomination, and who is the first or senior author of a relevant peer-reviewed manuscript, is eligible for the award. For consideration in 2025, nominees must have completed fellowship training no earlier than 2010. Any PIDS member may serve as the primary nominator, self-nominations are invited, and individuals may be nominated again if not selected for the award.
